A female member of An Garda Síochána has been suspended pending the outcome of investigations after a collision on the M50 at Clondalkin, Dublin 22.

The  two-vehicle collision involved a car and a stationary truck at around 10.30pm on Monday, December 9th.

The female driver of the car, and the male driver of the truck were both taken to Tallaght University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

It is understood the driver of the car was the female garda who has been suspended.

No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
