Two teenagers were arrested in the Baltinglass area of Co Wicklow in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Gardaí were alerted to a stolen car and shortly before 6am a stinger device was deployed on the N81 at Burgage Moyle, and the car was brought to a stop.

The car along with a number of items suspected of being stolen were recovered.

Two teenagers, were arrested at the scene and held at a Garda Station in Co Wicklow.

They have since been charged, and are expected to appear before a special sitting of Waterford District Court on Sunday.
