Man (20s) charged in connection with serious assault in Kildare

A man in his 20s has been charged in connection with a serious assault at Newbridge, in Co Kildare earlier this month.
He is due to appear at a special sitting of Naas District Court later on Saturday.
He was detained by gardaí investigating an incident in which a woman was found unresponsive with serious injuries at St Conleth's Car Park on Main Street, Newbridge, shortly after 8am, on Wednesday, December 4th.
