Three arrested in connection with burglaries across Ireland

Two men and a teenage boy have been arrested as part of an investigation into a string of burglaries across the country.

The arrests, under Operation Thor, follow intelligence-led searches in counties Meath and Westmeath, targeting an organised criminal gang suspected of carrying out heists on both residential and commercial properties.

A high-powered car was stopped in Enfield, Co Meath on Friday night, and a large sum of cash was seized.

A teenage boy and two men aged in their 20s and 30s are being detained at Garda stations in the Eastern Region, while investigations continue.
