The man is due to appear before a special sitting of Limerick District Court on Saturday.

Gardaí investigating the fatal shooting of a man (30s) at Thomondgate, Limerick City, on April 26th, 2007, arrested a man (40s) on Friday.

The man has since been charged in connection with the investigation.

He is due to appear before a special sitting of Limerick District Court on Saturday.
