Two men have been arrested on Friday in Dublin as part of an investigation into suspected insider trading.

The two men are currently being held in a Garda station in Dublin.

The investigation was launched after An Garda Síochána was alerted to a number of transactions by the Central Bank of Ireland.

As this is an ongoing criminal investigation, a Garda spokesperson is not available.
