A woman in her 40s is due in court on Friday morning charged in connection with last November's Dublin riots.

She will appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice at 10.30am.

She was arrested on Thursday along with a man in his 30s who appeared in court last night.

He was before Dublin District Court charged in connection with the investigations into serious public disorder on November 23rd last year in the city centre.

This brings the number of arrests in connection with the riots to 53.

Riots broke out on the streets of Dublin in November 2023 after a girl, aged five, was severely wounded, and two other children were injured in a knife attack at Parnell Square.
