A man has been arrested following a drug seizure in Dublin.

Gardaí discovered a cannabis cultivation operation during a search of a home in the Stepaside area on Sunday.

Officers seized 37 mature cannabis plants, a substantial quantity of cannabis herb and quantities of MDMA and amphetamine with a combined value of more than €300,000.

A man in his 40s was arrested in connection with the investigation and is currently detained at a Garda station in the Dublin region.
