McDonald's Ireland has announced the return of the "fan-favourite" Double Big Mac.

The burger will be in McDonald's restaurants state-wide until November 19th.

It features four beef patties, double the usual two, as well as double the Big Mac sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, and onions.

Last month, the fast food chain launched its first ever €8 meal deal on Wednesday, which includes four food items.

Customers have two burger options: a cheeseburger or a mayo chicken burger, as well as medium fries, a medium soft drink and a bonus side of four chicken nuggets.

McDonald's said the meal deal items are "all strong fan favourites".
