Tesco announces 1,200 temporary jobs for Christmas season nationwide

Tesco Ireland is creating 1,200 temporary jobs for the Christmas season.

The positions are being advertised across its super and extra stores nationwide.

Currently, the company employs more than 13,000 staff across the State.

People director at Tesco Ireland, Maurice Kelly said flexible hours are available for anyone who applies for a role.

"We are delighted to announce that we're investing in 1,200 seasonal roles this Christmas and those roles are available nationwide," he said.

"They are designed to offer really flexible hours and a real variety of shift options."
