Gardaí have charged the man (aged in his 30s) who was arrested in relation to the investigation into the fatal assault of a man in Lucan, Co Dublin.

He is due to appear before Blanchardstown District Court (Court 1) on Wednesday morning.

The victim, who was in his late 40s and originally from Latvia, was found at a house at Old Bridge Park in Lucan shortly after 8am on Monday morning.

He may have died a number of hours or days before he was discovered.

The Herald reported on Tuesday that gardaí are looking at whether the man died hours or even days before emergency services were called.
