A man has been arrested after gardaí seized drugs and fireworks in Coolock, Co Dublin.

This followed the search of a residential property in Priorswood under warrant on Wednesday.

During the search, gardaí discovered cocaine valued at over €30,000, cannabis worth €1,500 (analysis pending) and cash totalling €1,550.

A significant quantity of fireworks was also seized, along with drug paraphernalia, including scales, deal bags and various chemical agents.

A 20-year-old man was arrested at the scene and detained at a Garda station in Dublin.

He has been charged and is set to appear before Dublin District Court next month.

The drugs seized will be forwarded to FSI for analysis.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
