A man has been charged with manslaughter after a death in Co Tyrone.

Kyle McDermott (24) died after an incident in Ballymagorry, near Strabane, on Sunday night.

Police launched a murder investigation earlier this week.

On Tuesday evening, they announced a 24-year-old man had been charged with manslaughter.

He is due to appear at Dungannon Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.

A police spokesperson said: “As is usual procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.”
