Two men have been charged over a 390 thousand euro cash seizure in Dublin and Portlaoise.

They are due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice in Dublin on Monday morning.

A large amount of money was seized when gardaí stopped two cars in West Dublin on Friday evening and follow-up searches in both counties led to further cash seizures.

A woman in her 50s who was arrested has been released without charge and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecution.
