Gardaí have arrested three people (two male, 40s, one male juvenile) in Dublin in relation to a number of burglaries.

As part of ongoing investigations into burglaries at residential and commercial premises in Co Roscommon and offences in Westmeath, Cavan, Meath, Offaly, Dublin and Kildare, Gardaí arrested four people on Friday morning.

Gardaí from Roscommon were assisted by members from Longford, Cavan, Meath, Kildare and the Dublin Metropolitan Region.

They are being held at Garda stations in the northwestern region, pursuant to Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
