A teenager has been arrested in connection with a fatal hit-and-run in Dublin last July.

The incident happened in Baldoyle on the early hours of July 17th.

A man in his 40s died after a collision involving a car and a pedestrian.

The man, aged in his late teens, was arrested in the early hours on Wednesday, and held in a Garda station in Dublin.

He has since been arrested without charge, with file will being prepared for the Garda Youth Diversion Office.

Another teenager was previously arrested on September 9th in connection with the incident.

He was released without charge and a file is being prepared for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
