An 18-year-old man has died three days after a crash in Co Armagh.

Daniel McCallister, from the Tandragee area, died from injuries he sustained in the Markethill crash on Sunday evening.

He had been driving when his car collided with another car on the Cladymilltown Road shortly before 10.45pm.

The man driving the other car remains in a critical condition in hospital.

There were no passengers in either vehicle.

Roads Inspector Cherith Adair from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s collision investigation unit said: “My detectives are investigating the circumstances of the collision and would like to hear from witnesses or anyone who may have captured dash-cam or other footage which could assist with our inquiries.

“Please call us on 101, quoting reference 1729 15/09/24.”
