A woman has been arrested in Dublin after €180,000 worth of drugs were seized by gardaí.

The follows a search warrant carried out at a residential property in Finglas, Dublin 11.

Approximately €71,800 heroin, €22,800 alprazolam and €5,600 worth of cocaine was seized, pending analysis.

In follow-up searches, an additional €79,400 of alprazolam tablets were additionally seized.

A woman in her 30s was arrested and is currently being held in a Garda station in Dublin.

She has since been charged and is expected to appear before Blanchardstown District Court on Thursday morning.

The seized drugs will now be sent to Forensic Science Ireland (FSI) for analysis.
