A woman aged in her 30s, arrested in relation to the murder of Kevin Sheehy in Limerick five years ago, has been released from custody.

She was detained on Monday morning by Gardaí investigating the death of the 20-year-old boxer after a house party in July 2019.

She has been released without charge following questioning.

A man is already serving a life sentence for Mr. Sheehy's murder.
