Trolley watch: 249 people waiting for beds in Irish hospitals

There were a total of 249 patients waiting for a bed at Irish hospitals on Friday morning.

The INMO (Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation) Trolley Watch figures show 191 patients were waiting in emergency departments, while 58 were in wards elsewhere in the hospital.

There were a total of 29 patients waiting for beds based at Tallaght University Hospital, 27 at Sligo University Hospital, and 25 at Cork University Hospital.
