Three people have been charged in connection with a drugs seizure in Carrigtwohill, Co Cork.

On Friday, suspected cannabis with an estimated street value of €140,000 and suspected cocaine with a street value of €120,000 was recovered.

A woman in her 40s, and two men aged in their 50s and teens were arrested following the search of a residential premises.

They have since been charged and will appear before Cork City District Court on Monday morning.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
