Man charged in connection with drugs seizure in Limerick

The man and a teenage girl were arrested when gardaí stopped a vehicle on the southside of the city, which contained large packages of cocaine.

A man who was arrested when €140,000 of drugs was seized in Limerick has been charged.

The man in his 40s is expected to appear before a special sitting of Nenagh District Court.

The man and a teenage girl were arrested when gardaí stopped a vehicle on the southside of the city, which contained large packages of cocaine.

The girl has since been released without charge pending a file to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
