Man questioned over murder of pensioner in Tipperary released without charge

A man being held in connection with the murder of a pensioner in Co Tipperary has been released without charge.

The man aged in his 50's was arrested on Friday just after the funeral of Josephine Ray.

The 89-year-old was found dead at her home in Nenagh last Sunday.

Gardaí say a file is being prepared for the DPP, while a woman also aged in her 50's who was arrested at the same time remains in custody.
