A man has been arrested in connection with a bomb threat made on the Taoiseach’s home.

The man, aged in his 50s, was arrested on Friday in connection with the threat on June 26th.

The threat was made in a phone call to the Samaritans.

Simon Harris’ wife and two young children were in the property at the time.

Gardaí carried out a search of the property but nothing was discovered.

Following the incident, the Taoiseach condemned the threat as “utterly unacceptable”.
