A man and woman, both aged in their 20s, were seriously injured in a single-vehicle collision in Co Limerick on Tuesday evening.

The male driver and female passenger were both rushed to University Hospital Limerick (UHL) following the crash, which occurred at 8.40pm.

The scene is preserved for technical examination by forensic collision investigators, and local diversions are in place.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to come forward.

Road users with camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling on the R503 road near Lisngry, Co Limerick, yesterday between 7.45pm and 8.45pm, are asked to make this footage available to gardaí.
