Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fire at a premises on Grafton Court in Longford town on Sunday, July 28th.

Shortly before 1.30am on Sunday, gardaí and emergency services were alerted to the fire.

Residents in the overhead apartments were safely evacuated, and the fire was brought under control by local fire services.

No injuries were reported, and the scene remains preserved while a forensic and technical examination is ongoing.

Anyone with information in relation to the incident is asked to contact gardaí in Longford, and anyone who may have camera footage, including dashcam, and were in the area between 12am and 2am are asked to make the footage available to gardaí.
