Woman released without charge in relation to death of man in Tallaght

A woman who was arrested in connection with the fatal assault of a man in south Dublin has been released without charge.

Jordan Ronan, aged in his 20s, died in the incident in the Drumcairn Estate area in Tallaght in the early hours of Friday morning.

He was pronounced dead at Tallaght University Hospital.

Patrick Murphy, 36, with an address at Drumcairn Parade in Tallaght, appeared in court on Saturday charged with his murder.

The woman aged in her 30s who was arrested in relation to the investigation was released without charge on Sunday, gardaí said.

A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to come forward, particularly those with video footage.
