There has been a total of 109 deaths on Irish roads this year so far, an increase of 17 from the same time last year.

In July 2024 alone, 15 people have died so far on Irish roads.

The issue of road deaths has been prevalent all of this year, with February claiming the lives of most people, with 21 fatalities on the roads in that month alone.

Take our poll to see if road users have become more wary on the roads following the increase in fatalities in 2024.
