The body of a man in his 40s has been discovered at a home in County Wexford.

Gardaí say they are investigating all circumstances surrounding the discovery in the Clonattin area of Gorey shortly before midday on Sunday.

The Office of the State Pathologist has been notified and a post-mortem will take place to determine the course of the investigation.

The scene remains preserved for technical examination.
