Value of drug seizure in Dublin upgraded to €9.6 million

Value of drug seizure in Dublin upgraded to €9.6 million

The value of a significant drug seizure in Dublin last Friday, has been upgraded to €9.6 million.

Gardaí had originally estimated that the suspected illegal drugs seized in The Ward on Friday were worth around €8 million.

€1 million in cash was also recovered.

A man in his 50s, who was arrested last week in connection to the case, has now been changed.

He is due to appear before Blanchardstown District Court on Monday morning.
