Gardaí investigating the death of a Croatian man in Dublin have made an arrest.

Josip Strok (31) and a second man were seriously assaulted in Clondalkin on March 30th.

Mr Strok died on April 3rd.

Two men previously appeared in court charged with Mr Strok’s murder.

A Garda spokesperson said a male was arrested on Thursday in relation to the death.

“The male, who is in his 40s, is currently detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda station in West Dublin,” they said.

“The investigation is ongoing.”
