Three men, two aged in their 20s and one in his 40s, and one woman in her 20s have since been charged and are expected to appear before a sitting of Galway District Court on Friday.
Five people arrested in connection with alleged violent disorder in Galway

Gardai have arrested five people in connection with an incident of violent disorder which took place in Doughiska, County Galway, on Tuesday June 4th.

The four men and a woman were arrested on Thursday by gardaí in Galway and Órán Mór stations as part of an operation into the incident.

Three men, two aged in their 20s and one in his 40s, and one woman in her 20s have since been charged and are expected to appear before a sitting of Galway District Court on Friday.

The fifth individual arrested, a male youth, has been released without charge pending a file to the Juvenile Diversion Programme.

Gardaí say the investigation is ongoing.
