Gardaí are currently in attendance at a scene in the Fairview Strand area of Dublin 3.

A cordon has been put in place and the Defence Forces Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit are in attendance.

Road closures have been put in place between Fairview Strand and Richmond Road, as well as between Fairview Strand and Phillipsburgh Avenue.

Gardaí say no further information is available at this time.
