A flight was diverted to Dublin Airport on Monday morning over a medical issue and a disruptive passenger.

United Airlines 998 took off from Brussels earlier on Monday and was heading to Newark airport.

Crews in Dublin put in place "appropriate measures," including meeting the plane with Gardaí, airport police and HSE personnel.

Dublin Airport says this has had no impact on other operations on the airfield. They are advising anyone to come to the ariport this evening to arrive at the normal time.
