Primeline announces 400 new jobs for Meath

Primeline Distribution in Co Meath has announced the addition of 400 new jobs for the county.

The roles are part of a €50 million investment in a new hub in Ashbourne.

The jobs will be across a range of areas and will bring Primeline's total workforce to over 1,500.

Primeline Group’s fleet of vehicles makes over 25,000 deliveries to more than 7,500 outlets around Ireland each week.

Minister for Enterprise Trade and Employment Peter Burke welcomed the news, stating: “The story of Primeline Group is one of ambition and entrepreneurship, and the group has built a truly impressive presence across Ireland and the UK.

“Bringing this new addition online will no doubt be a major asset to its growth in Ashbourne and the wider region. ”

Primeline Group chief executive Tim Cummins said the development of this hub, along with an investment in new technologies, “is a product of careful planning and strategy and is also a symbol of the vision we have for Primeline Group”.
