Three people have been arrested after €692,000 of drugs were seized in Coolock, County Dublin on Sunday morning.

The search of a residential premises was carried out by personnel from Coolock District Drugs Unit with assistance from the Dog Unit.

During the course of this search approximately €400,000 of suspected cannabis, €230,000 cocaine, €60,000 valium and €2,000 MDMA was recovered. Approximately €57,000 in cash was also recovered.

Two men, aged in their 30s and 60s, and a woman, aged in her 60s, have been arrested in connection with this seizure.

They are all being held in Garda stations in Dublin.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
