Cannabis worth more than €600,000 has been seized in two separate operations in Dublin.

A man in his 30s was arrested after 27kg of the drug was seized on Monday.

He is being questioned at a Garda station in Dublin, where he can be held for up to a week.

In a second operation, a man aged 24 and a juvenile were arrested after 3.5kg of cannabis was seized.

They are being held at a Garda station in the north of the city.
