No arrests have been made and gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a robbery on the N7 in Co Kildare.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a robbery on the N7 in Co Kildare.

A woman pulled into the hard shoulder between Junction 7 and 8 southbound near Kill at about 2pm on Saturday.

A second car parked in front of her, a man exited, and following an altercation, he stole a number of personal items from her car and fled the scene.

The woman did not report any serious injuries.

No arrests have been made and gardaí are appealing for witnesses.

Anyone who was travelling in the area between 1.45pm and 2.15pm on Saturday, especially those with dashcam footage, can contact gardaí at Naas Garda Station on 045 884300, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
