Four people released over Galway hotel fire

Four people who were arrested in connection with the fire in a Galway hotel have been released without charge.

On Thursday, two men in their 40s and 50s, and two women in their 40s and 50s were arrested in connection to the fire in Rosscahill on December 16th.

The building in Rosscahill had been earmarked for housing 70 asylum seekers.

Files are set to be prepared for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
