A woman has died in hospital from her injuries after she was struck by a van in Dublin.

The incident happened on Wednesday March 20th, when a van collided with a female pedestrian at the junction of Cambridge Road and Thorncastle Street.

The woman, aged in her 50s, was receiving treatment at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. She passed away from her injuries on Saturday March 23rd.

An Garda Síochána are continuing to appeal to any witnesses of this collision to come forward.

They are also appealing to anyone with video footage (including dash-cam) from the area between 7:45am and 8:15am on the 20th March to make this available to investigating gardaí.
