Gardaí seize e-bikes and scramblers in major west Dublin operation

Gardaí have seized e-bikes, e-scooters and scramblers in a major operation in west Dublin

In total, two electric scooters, 10 e-bikes, two stolen motorbikes, five scramblers and a quad bike were discovered in Ballyfermot and Clondalkin.

Cash, cannabis and tablets were also seized.

Officers said the aim of the operation was to target gangs that use "electric modes of transportation."

They also said scramblers have caused harm and disruption in communities.

Chief Superintendent McNulty said "the actions of gardaí in this operation is a testament to their ongoing determination in targeting those who are causing harm and disruption to our communities on a daily basis”.
