Gardaí arrest man after search for yellow van ends in Co Mayo
Gardaí have arrested a man after a nationwide search for a yellow van concluded in Co Mayo.
The vehicle was found following information provided by a member of the public.
Earlier gardaí had issued an alert over the Renault Trafic van, which was last spotted in Dublin city centre.
The investigation into the alleged false imprisonment of a woman is continuing, but the woman is safe and well.
A man has been arrested and remains in custody at a Garda station in the northwest region.
