There has been a major drugs seizure in west Dublin worth €2 million.

The discovery was made when two cars were stopped in the Blanchardstown area shortly after 5pm this evening.

Cannabis, MDMA, cocaine, ecstasy tabs and cannabis jellies have been found under Operation Tara.

A coordinated planned search of a home in the area was also carried out.

Three men aged 35, 40 and 53 have been arrested and are being held at garda station in the capital.
