A man in his 60s is to appear before court charged in connection with riots in Dublin last November.

The man was arrested in Dublin city centre on Monday afternoon, where a number of protests were taking place.

The man was arrested at around 2pm in Parnell Square and was questioned at a Garda station in north Dublin.

He is suspected of committing a number of offences during the rioting in Dublin last November.

The man is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice on Tuesday afternoon.

A total of 39 people have been arrested in connection with the violent scenes on November 23rd.
