Gardaí are appealing for information after a man died on the M50 on Sunday night.

The man, aged in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene of an incident at Junction 6 southbound at Castleknock at about 8.15pm.

No other injuries to persons have been reported.

Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area of Junction 6 of the M50, Castleknock, Dublin 15, between 7.30pm and 8.30pm on Sunday 14th January 2024 are asked to make this footage available to gardaí.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Blanchardstown Garda Station on 01 666 7000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.

Gardaí are appealing to the public not to share any of this material, if received, out of respect for the privacy of the deceased and their family and friends.
