Motorcyclist (40s) killed in Cavan collision

A motorcyclist in his 40's has been killed in a collision involving a car in County Cavan.
It happened this afternoon on the main Cavan to Ballinagh road.
The N55 at Corlurgan is currently closed with local diversions in place - and is expected to remain closed overnight.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
