A woman has died following a three-car collision earlier this month.

Jennifer Andrews (56) from the Belfast area was seriously injured in the collision, which happened on the A1, close to Loughbrickland, on Wednesday, December 13th.

A police spokesperson said Ms Andrews was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and sadly died in hospital on Friday.

A full investigation has been launched into the circumstances of the collision, which involved a grey-coloured Seat Ibiza, a grey Volkswagen Golf and a black Volvo XC90, at approximately 5.35pm on December 13th.

Officers from the Police Service’s Collision Investigation Unit have issued an appeal to anyone who was on the A1 at the time and may have seen the vehicles involved, or who may have dash-cam footage available, to contact the Collision Investigation Unit at Sprucefield on 101, quoting reference number 1565 of 13/12/23.
