Two men have been arrested after herbal cannabis with an estimated value of €490,000 was seized on Wednesday.

This part of a joint operation conducted by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), DMR East Divisional Drugs Unit and Revenue’s Customs Service.

Two men, one aged in his 40s and another aged in his 50s, were arrested by gardaí and are currently being held at a Garda station in Dublin.

Gardaí say investigations are currently ongoing.
