Further arrest made in connection with fatal assault at Tralee cemetery

A man in his 60s has been arrested in connection with a fatal assault in Co Kerry last year.

Thomas Dooley died following an incident at Rathass Cemetery in Tralee on October 5th, 2022.

The man was arrested on Wednesday and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda Station in Kerry.

A number of people have been arrested in connection with the incident. In April, a male teenager was charged in relation to the fatal assault.

Gardaí said investigation remain ongoing.
