Three people have been arrested in connection to a fatal assault in Dublin.

Two men and one woman, all aged in their 20s were arrested on Tuesday morning.

On July 30th, a man received serious injuries during the course of an assault on the Larkhill Road, Whitehall. He passed away from his injuries on August 1st.

One of the men is detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, while the other man and woman are currently detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939.

All three are being held at Garda Stations in the Dublin Region.
